Three Ways to Analyse
the Markets

Successful trading requires understanding market direction, momentum, and timing. GBH Markets teaches all three forms of market analysis — and how to combine them into a coherent trading approach.

Technical Analysis
Using price charts, patterns, and indicators to identify high-probability trade setups. Covers candlestick patterns, moving averages, RSI, MACD, Fibonacci, and chart pattern recognition.
Fundamental Analysis
Analysing economic data, central bank policy, and geopolitical events to understand long-term currency and commodity price direction. Includes reading economic calendars and interpreting key data releases.
Sentiment Analysis
Understanding the overall positioning and mood of the market — whether traders are predominantly long or short on an instrument — and using that information to identify contrarian trade opportunities.

Recommended Learning Path

Your Step-by-Step
Trading Education

Follow this recommended path to build a complete trading education — from complete beginner to confident live trader — in the most efficient order. Each step builds directly on the skills from the previous.

01
Complete the Beginner's Guide
Start here regardless of background. Learn what Forex trading is, how CFDs work, what pips and lots mean, how leverage operates, and how to place your first trade. Takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete all modules.
02
Practice on a Demo Account
Before studying advanced techniques, spend at least 2–4 weeks trading a $10,000 demo account. Get comfortable with the platform, practice placing orders, and observe how prices move in real time — without any financial risk.
03
Study Technical Analysis
Learn to read charts, identify patterns, and use technical indicators to find trade setups. Focus on: candlestick patterns, support and resistance, moving averages, RSI, and MACD. Apply each concept on your demo account as you study.
04
Learn Fundamental Analysis
Understand how economic events move markets. Learn to read the economic calendar, interpret NFP, CPI, and central bank statements, and understand OPEC and oil market dynamics relevant to MENA-based traders.
05
Master Risk Management
This is the most important step. Learn the 1% rule, position sizing, stop-loss placement, and risk-reward ratios. Build a personal trading plan. No trader should go live without completing this module — it is the foundation of long-term survival in the markets.
06
Go Live — Start Small
Open your live account with the minimum deposit and trade micro or mini lots until consistently profitable over at least 3 months. Scale up gradually. Continue learning advanced topics — algorithmic trading, sentiment analysis, and trading psychology — as you gain experience.

FAQ

Trading Academy Questions

Is the GBH Trading Academy completely free?
Yes. All content in the GBH Markets Trading Academy is completely free — there are no paid tiers, no premium content, and no paywalls. Access requires a free GBH Markets account registration (no deposit needed). The demo account, calculators, economic calendar, and glossary are all free. Our philosophy is that educated traders make better long-term clients.
Is there Arabic language educational content?
Yes. GBH Markets provides Arabic translations of key educational materials — including the Beginner's Guide, risk management fundamentals, and glossary terms. Our Arabic-speaking support team is also available 24/5 to answer any educational questions via live chat or WhatsApp. Additional Arabic content is continuously added to the Academy.
Where should a complete beginner start?
Start with the Beginner's Guide, which covers everything from "What is Forex?" through to placing your first simulated trade on a demo account. It takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete all modules. After finishing, we recommend spending at least 2–4 weeks practicing on a free demo account before moving to the Technical Analysis course.
Do I need to deposit money to access the Academy?
No. Registering a free GBH Markets account gives you immediate access to all Academy content, calculators, market analysis, the economic calendar, and a $10,000 virtual balance demo account. No deposit is required at any stage to access educational content. You only need to deposit when you are ready to trade with real funds.
How long does it take to complete all courses?
Reading time for all written content is approximately 15–20 hours across all three levels. Combined with video tutorials, this extends to approximately 25–30 hours. However, the learning process is most effective when spread over several weeks — studying a module, then applying the concepts on your demo account before progressing to the next level. Real-world practice is as important as the reading material.
Can I learn about Gold and MENA-specific markets?
Yes. The GBH Trading Academy includes MENA-specific content covering Gold (XAU/USD) trading patterns, Oil market dynamics and OPEC decisions, USD/AED and USD/SAR pair characteristics, and the impact of Gulf central bank policies on regional currency markets. This is one of the few trading academies with dedicated MENA-focused educational content.
Is there a certificate upon completion?
GBH Markets does not currently issue formal certificates of completion. The Trading Academy is designed as a practical education resource — its value is measured in the knowledge and skills you develop, not a credential. For regulated financial qualifications, we recommend exploring courses from bodies such as the CFA Institute, CISI, or local financial regulators in your jurisdiction.
What is the economic calendar and how do I use it?
The economic calendar shows all scheduled economic data releases and central bank events, with timing, expected values, previous values, and actual results as they are released. For traders, it serves as a schedule of upcoming market volatility events. Many traders avoid holding positions into high-impact releases, while others specifically trade the volatility. The GBH Fundamental Analysis course covers how to interpret and trade economic releases in detail.
